VELVET SOUND
The AK4492 is a premium D/A convertor (DAC), which inherits high quality sound technologies of the AK4490 that has been adopted by many high-end models of portable audio since release in 2016. It achieves the industry’s leading lowest distortion characteristics. It also consumes very low power, making it suitable for portable applications pursuing high quality sound.

□ Premium 32-bit D/A Convertor, “AK4492”, enables reproduction of original acoustic sound in portable audio.
The AK4492 accomplishes low distortion and low power consumption at the industry’s highest level with AKM’s VELVET SOUND technology and original process dedicated to audio products. A 96-pin WLCSP is used for the AK4492, downsizing from the AK4490EN. High-resolution audio sources are supported for digital input, up to 768kHz PCM and 11.2MHz DSD data. The AK4492 has six types of 32-bit digital filters, giving simple and flexible sound tuning in a wide range of applications.
