Zero Latency Delta Sigma ADC

Zero latency Delta Sigma ADC is a new concept of A/D converters that has both SAR's high accuracy and Delta Sigma's high linearity.

All lineups are pin compatible and available in a small 4 mm x 4 mm QFN package. It is easy to find the most suitable device for your system from AKM’s 18/16/14-bit A/D converter and Analog front end lineups. They are suitable for miniature motors and measurement equipment.

2ch 18/16/14 bit 1.1MHz ZDS A/D Converter

ZDS A/D converter AK9232/AK9233/AK9234 integrates 2-channel circuits in a 4mm x 4mm package enabling simultaneous sampling and saving board space.
The AK9232 realizes 18-bit resolution while supporting the sampling rate up to 1.1MHz.
In addition, it has polar coordinates output function (angle calculation algorithm); a small high accuracy encoder can easily be designed with the AK9232. 

Pin compatible lineups, the AK9233 (16-bit) and the AK9243 (14-bit) are also available.

The AK9242/AK9243 is an analog front end that is optimized for high resolution encoders.

ZDS A/D converter AK9242/43 integrates 2-channel simultaneous sampling A/D converter, a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a transimpedance amplifier for current input in a small 4mm x 4mm QFN package. Current / Voltage input for the AK9242/43 can be selected. In addition, it has polar coordinates output function (angle calculation algorithm).

The AK9242 realizes 16-bit resolution while supporting the sampling rate up to 1.1MHz. A small high accuracy encoder can easily be designed with the AK9242.

A pin compatible lineup, the AK9243 (14-bit) is also available.

Moreover, an analog front end with SAR A/D converter in a small 3mm x 3mm QFN package, the AK9240 (12-bit) is also available.
