AKM will demonstrate the new AK4493EQ, AKM’s newest 32-bit high-performance audio DAC. This new DAC is a pin compatible upgrade over the widely used AK4490EQ audio DAC. The AK4493EQ is capable of -113dB THD+N, 123dB dynamic range, up to 768kHz and 22.4MHz DSD. The AK4493EQ fills the void in performance between the AK4490EQ and AK4497EQ. The AK4493EQ will be setup for you to hear the sound quality first hand.
AKM will be demonstrating our latest portable audio solution, the AK4377. This new DAC with headphone amplifier combines AKMs latest sound technology to maximize sound quality from a portable solution. The AK4377 is capable of -109dB THD+N, 118dB Dynamic Range, 768kHz sample rate, DSD input all in a package smaller than 3 x 3 mm2. This new device advances the already extensive offerings from AKM for your portable audio solutions.
AKM will be demonstrating the new AK4572 that is a fully integrated high-performance USB type C audio solution. This device has integrated digital ANC, button interface, USB I/F 24-bit 96kHz support, -106dB THD+N, 116dB Dynamic Range, I2C master interface for external sensors and LED Driver integration. This complete single chip solution will be on display for you to listen to and experience the level of integration.
AK7737 and AK7739 are AKMs first new DSP core architecture that maintain 32-bit audio word through the DSP. These new DSPs use a F32.5 data format that enables a 32-bit mantissa with sign bit, a 5-bit exponent. This revolutionary new architecture is more ideally suited for audio processing than the traditional IEEE 32-bit floating point processing. The 32-bit mantissa maintains the audio signal more precisely within the audio signal level. This can greatly increase the sound quality through the DSP processing.
AKM will be introducing three new devices targeting the quickly expanding connected home market. The AK5704 is a new 4ch ADC that has a unique voice detection feature that can be utilized to save system power. The AK7775 DSP that enables Smart Voice Enhancer (SVE) from 4 microphones and the AK7776 that also adds the unique capability for local voice authentication algorithm.
AKM has a newly developed ultra-low noise current sensor AK31xx for audio system. This sensor is ideal for motional feedback (MFB) applications that feedback speaker current and actively improve sound quality. AK31xx minimizes sound quality degradation due to impedance and realizes sound quality enhancement including the speaker itself.
