Description

AK7451

The AK7452 is a 14bits angle sensor which detects the angular position of a magnetic field parallel to the IC surface with high speed tracking (up to 25,000rpm). The contactless angle sensor can be made by the simple construction containing small magnet and this sensor.
The power supply voltage corresponds from 3.0 to 5.5 V, and the small package (TSSOP 16) is adopted.




● Angle Error Calibration Function

The AK7452 has an angle error calibration function and it is possible to improve the accuracy by calibrating the angle error caused by mounting misalignment. Calibration is realized by writing the parameters for calibrating angle errors into the AK7452 internal EEPROM.

● Supports Off-Axis Detection

In addition to the shaft end arrangement, the AK7452 corresponds to detection on an orthogonal side of the shaft. A shaft through type motor system can be constructed with this Off-Axis arrangement. This realizez thinning of  the motor system hollow structure.

● Various parameter setting with built-in EEPROM

With built-in EEPROM, it is possible to program zero point setting that can set any anglar position to 0 degree, rotation direction, ABZ output resolution (arbtrary value from 1 to 4096), UVW pole number (arbtray value rom 1 to 32).
