The AK7454 is a 14bit angle sensor which detects the angular position of a magnetic field parallel to the IC surface and it can track up to 25,000rpm. The contactless angle sensor can be constructed simply with small magnet and this sensor. The AK7454 is available in a small and thin QFN24 package. The supply voltage range is 3.0 to 5.5V.

● Angle error calibration function

The AK7454 has an angle error calibration function. High accuracy calibration can be performed with measurement data of 16 points or more in a single rotation. By writing the calibration parameters to the internal EEPROM, high angular accuracy can be realized.

● Supports Off-Axis configuration

In addition to Shaft-End, the AK7454 corresponds to Off-Axis configuration. This helps to make the motor system thinner and allows for a hollow-shaft design.

● Various parameter setting with built-in EEPROM

With built-in EEPROM, it is possible to program zero point setting that can set any angular position to 0degree, rotation direction, ABZ output resolution(arbitrary value from 1 to 4096ppr), UVW pole number(arbitrary value from 1 to 32pole pairs).
