Description

The AK9710AEF01 is an infrared detector equipped with an optical filter that has a transmission band in the infrared absorption band of CO₂.
The AK9710AEF01 is an IR sensor that utilizes the fact that CO₂ absorbs infrared light of a specific wavelength. The AK9710AEF01 also has an optical filter that has a passband in the absorption band of CO₂. This makes it easy to construct a non-dispersive optical (NDIR) CO₂ sensor by providing an external infrared light source.
The AK9710AEF01 is ideal for creating a comfortable indoor environment in high-rise office buildings or highly airtight houses with high heat insulation, and for saving energy in air conditioning equipment. In addition, by optimizing the operation of the air conditioning of the car as in a house, the load on the engine and motor can be reduced and fuel efficiency can be improved. It can also be used as a refrigerant leak detection sensor for automotive air conditioning, which is scheduled to be replaced with CO₂ refrigerant in the future.
