Technical Description
A wireless microphone system consists of a microphone-side transmitter and a receiver that receives the signal. It is the same configuration as the simultaneous interpretation system and the wireless guide system in factories or tourist areas. There are an analog type and a digital type.
About AK1562/AK1563/AK1574
The AK1562 is a receiving LSI for this wireless microphone system and can be used for both analog and digital system of 470MHz to 960MHz. It contains an LNA, demodulator, fractional-N PLL frequency synthesizer and on-chip VCO.
The AK1563 is a transmitter LSI used on the microphone side and can be used for the digital system of 470MHz to 960MHz. It contains a 12-bit DAC, quadrature modulator, variable driver amplifier, fractional-N PLL frequency synthesizer and on-chip VCO.
The AK1574 can be used for the analog transmitter. It contains a 12-bit ADC, fractional-N PLL frequency synthesizer and on-chip VCO.
Architecture example
Digital Receiver Circuit
Figure 1 shows a configuration example of a digital receiver circuit that uses the AK1562. It can be configured without the SAW filter as shown. In addition, the AK1562 can flexibly be used for various systems.
Analog Receiver Circuit
Figure 2 shows an example of the configuration of an analog receiver circuit that uses the AK1562. It can be configured without a SAW filter or DSP as shown.
Digital Transmitter Circuit
Figure 3 shows an example of the configuration of a digital transmitter circuit that uses the AK1563. It supports European spectrum mask (ETSI 300 422) and outputs power in range of -19dBm to 0dBm.
Analog Transmitter Circuit
Figure 4 shows a configuration example of an analog transmitter circuit using the AK1574. AK1574 supports PLL modulation with analog I2S input.
