Description

Beacon solutions using Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) are used in a wide range of fields such as watching / loss prevention tags / employee attendance management / notifying smart devices at stores and exhibition halls, and are expected to become more popular in the future. The However, the only beacon LSI that can be used for transmission and reception is program development.
The AK1594 is a BLE transmission IC that can easily realize a beacon solution with a long battery life.
By limiting the function to advertisement transmission and making it microcomputer-less, BLE beacons can be realized simply by writing initial settings and transmission data to the internal memory (EEPROM).
This shortens the development period for beacon developers compared to conventional products with microcomputers. In addition, it achieves industry-leading low power consumption and high output transmission of up to + 6dBm (TYP.). Equipped with AES128 encryption for easy security measures and various switch action functions.
