'CQ' series are open-type current sensors which have the world's smallest package(*1), high accuracy, high S/N ratio, and the world's fastest response time(*2). With these advantages, we will offer the best current sensing solution to wide-ranging applications, such as inverter control, overcurrent detection, and electrical power detection.

Ultra-high Accuracy Coreless Current Sensor supporting 60Arms

CZ-3A0x series:

CZ-3A01, CZ-3A02, CZ-3A03, CZ-3A04, CZ-3A05, CZ-3A06, CZ-3A07

Corresponding to the UL safety standard UL61800-5-1 for industrial equipment, AKM has developed the CZ-3A0x series coreless current sensor, which achieves both creepage distance and clearance greater than 8mm.

With a wide current detection lineup from ±12.9 to ±129.1App, 50Arms, and two overcurrent protection circuits, the CZ-3A0x series can be used for many applications including AC motors and general-purpose inverters.
In addition, it is suitable for a sensor signal input to a 3.3V A/D converter.

Ultra-high Accuracy Unipolar Coreless Current Sensor supporting 60Arms

CZ-372x series:

AKM develops new CZ-372x series of coreless current sensors of the unipolar detection type for power conditioner (DC side).
When measuring current flowing in one direction, higher SNR can be achieved compared to the bipolar detection type.

Ultra-low Noise Coreless Current Sensor

AK310x series:

AK3101, AK3102, AK3103, AK3104, AK310H

AKM has developed ultra-low noise coreless current sensors for improving audio quality of large sized speakers such as subwoofers.

The AK310x series is suitable for a system which controls voicecoil motion in speakers (Motional Feedback) by current feedback.  This series can be used for controlling industrial motors, since it is certified to UL safety standards.

Ultra-high Accuracy Coreless Current Sensor supporting operation up to 125°C

CZ-381x series:

CZ-3813, CZ-3814, CZ-3815

Even in a coreless architecture, CZ-381x series has a disturbing magnetic field suppression function on chip.  This sensor measures the magnetic flux created by the current, but it will not sense the magnetic flux which wraps the whole sensor such as the disturbing magnetic field.

It is a current sensor that can take a more accurate measurement under large disturbing magnetic field.  Because of the small package, it is very suitable for applications that have many current paths in a limited area such as the distribution board and the three-phase inverter circuit.

Ultra-small Coreless Current Sensor

CQ-320x series:

CQ-320x series is a coreless current sensor in small size package with high galvanic isolation, especially designed for sensing the current range from 8.5 to 44A in 3.3V operation.

This low-voltage operating current sensor is suitable for air conditioning and solar power conditioner applications.  Seven types of different current sensing range products are available.
