Products to be exhibited
Current sensor for automotive OBC/DCDC
AKM exhibited current sensing solutions(CZ39 series) that are highly compatible with SiC/GaN power devices that lead the way to the future of EV charging. In addition, a demonstration of high-speed triangular wave current measurement, which will be required in SiC and GaN-based systems in the future, was performed.
eFuse systems using current sensors
In collaboration with Silicon Austria Labs (SAL), AKM has developed an eFuse system that solves the challenges of conventional protection systems that uses fuses only. With the results of this validation, AKM intoduced a concept of the eFuse technology that aims to significantly improve safety and reduce the cost of systems such as On-Board Chargers (OBCs) in automobiles.
Demonstration of AC servo control of coreless current sensor IC with Delta-Sigma digital output function
AKM introduced a new product (CQ36 series) that incorporates a delta-sigma digital output function in a coreless current sensor IC. A demonstration of controlling an AC servo motor using this product was shown. This technology can reduce heat generation to 1/10 compared to the existing shunt resistor solutions, thereby contributing greatly to the miniaturization of AC servo motors and robots.
