Simultaneous detection of positions/respirations of multiple persons
Millimeter-wave Radar
This section describes the simultaneous detection of positions/respirations of multiple persons that is realized by the millimeter-wave radar IC of Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM).
By combining the high-performance of millimeter-wave radar IC of AKM and algorithms, simultaneous detection of positions and respirations of multiple persons is realized.
Proposes millimeter-wave radar applications of AKM.
Detection of non-stationary multiple individuals separately
There are some detection condition issues in the conventional millimeter-wave radars such as "not being able to identify multiple persons individually", "not being able to detect non-stationary persons", and "small detectable area".
By combining high-performance IC and algorithms, AKM achieved the following functions:
* Ability to detect and identify separately multiple persons at a distance of 1m from the radar
Look at the video to see how the radar actually detects the positions/respirations of the persons.

How can such high isolation be achieved?
In addition, there are many other reasons why the millimeter-wave radar IC of AKM is chosen.
