Description

The AK09940A is a 3-axis Electronic Magnetometer that uses TMR magnetic sensor elements to achieve world-class ultra-low noise performance.
The sensor element, signal processing circuit, AD converter, etc. are incorporated into an ultra-small package, and the measured magnetic vector is digitally output in 18-bits for each of the X, Y, and Z axes.
High sensitivity and ultra-low noise performance can be leveraged to improve motion tracking accuracy for AR/VR or wearable devices. Its ability to precisely measure minute magnetic field fluctuations, magnetic field leakage, and magnetic field distortion with three axes makes it ideal for applications such as fault detection and position detection in unspecified weak magnetic fields. Furthermore, its ultra-low power consumption makes it a perfect match for 3-axis magnetic measurement in wearable devices and IoT devices that use small-capacity batteries.
