Automotive quality
The AKM Group is continuously engaged in quality maintenance and improvement activities aimed at a stable supply of zero-defect products over the long term, with due consideration given to the application of the products and the environment in which they will be used, and with sufficient attention to ensuring safety.
Products for automotive products are developed and manufactured under a system that satisfies the requirements of IATF 16949, and plants to which we outsource the manufacturing are selected and managed under the condition that they are IATF 16949 certified.
Many of our automotive products can meet the stringent quality standards of the American Automotive Electronics Council (AEC), such as AEC Q100/101.
Application records for automotive products
AKM products such as audio ICs, audio & voice DSPs, millimeter wave radar ICs, and sensor ICs / elements are used in car audio, car navigation, driver monitor systems, inverters, motor controls, switches and many others. For over 15 years, we have been providing high quality and reliable products to major global and domestic electrical equipment manufacturers.
Technology to eliminate latent defects
The AKM Group uses the following techniques to eliminate latent defects when inspecting electrical characteristics in order to improve product reliability levels and reduce initial failure rates. They are based on the concept of high quality, taking into account the three main defect modes of microdevices.
