There are 4 phases below in AKM Product Life Cycle.

Preview Under development Specification is subject to change during engineering validation.
MP In mass production  
NRND Not recommended for new designs Product not recommended for new design due to the reasons in the remarks column.
*Next generation product is/will be released.
*If a similar successor product is scheduled or released.
*No plan for sales expansion.
*Discontinuation is planned.
*If we provide products to only customers who already use AKM's products.
* Product which PDN (Product Discontinuation Notice) is issued and LTB quantity is under discussion.
EOL End of life  

* NRND: Not Recommended for New Designs

* LTB (Last Time Buy): Commitment to purchase specific quantity

* LBO (Last Buy Order): Purchase order for the demand committed by LTB

PDN based on JEDEC (JESD48) is issued when AKM discontinues the product in MP.

Depending on the circumstances PCN may be issued during MP status.

Product change means the change or addition in specification.

In case of product change, AKM starts the procedure following change control process.

In case of product change during MP, AKM issues a PCN in compliance with JEDEC (JESD46).
