The Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) Group takes into full consideration the end use and usage environment of the final product, and takes great care to ensure the safety of users, working to ensure a stable supply of products.

For medical equipment products, we develop and produce products to meet the required specifications based on the application, and manage our manufacturing contractors.

AKM's products, primarily audio ICs (ADC/DAC) and sensor ICs/elements, are used in blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and capnography devices that collect vital information, as well as ventilators, dialysis machines, and endoscope monitors.  We provide our products to medical device manufacturers both in Japan and overseas.
