The AK4498EX, when paired with the AK4191 digital filter and ΔΣ modulator device, offers a complete two-chip DAC solution that isolates the processing intensive digital signal (handled by the AK4191) from the analog.
This innovative partitioning significantly reduces digital noise interference within the analog conversion process, resulting in a breakthrough in sonic transparency.
The AK4498EX leverages advanced VELVET SOUNDTM technology to faithfully reproduce even the most nuanced audio details.
In conjunction with the AK4191, the AK4498EX supports ultra-high-resolution audio formats (64-bit, 1536kHz PCM; DSD1024). AKM’s commitment to sonic excellence is reflected not only in rigorous quantitative evaluation, but also through careful subjective auditory assessment.
Sample shipments begin in November 2024, with mass production slated to begin in April 2025.
