AKM original packing
The packing design which can maintain the quality in spite of a transport method and the environment is being done.
Corresponding to JEDEC standard
The packing specification of LSI parts in AKM are based on the standard of JEDEC (J-STD-033D).
AKM will change inner label which apply to the products shipped from Oct 2016.
Part number
Packing classification indexes of a part number are not included in this website.
Example: "AK□□□□"
When ordering, part numbers are followed by the packing classification index: L, E1 and E2, which represents the taping direction.
Example: "AK□□□□-L", "AK□□□□-E1", "AK□□□□-E2"
[Note]
You may sometimes see "P" or "-8" character in AKM part number. This type of the part number is internally used and it is the same product as the one without these characters.
Example: "AK□□□□-8" and "AK□□□□" are the same products.
Taping direction
Packing classification indexes at the end of a part number indicate the taping direction.
"L"
Packing classification index: L
Pin 1 identifier is in front of you towards the direction of feed.
(Pin 1 is on the same side of the feed hole.)
"E1"
Packing classification index: E1
Pin 1 identifier is in front of you towards the direction of feed.
(Pin 1 is on the opposite side of the feed hole.)
"E2"
Packing classification index: E2
Pin 1 identifier is behind you towards the direction of feed.
(Pin 1 is on the same side of the feed hole.)
JEDEC standard
Label
A new label that complies with JDEC standard will be used on the production from Oct. 2016.
