High accuracy magnetic encoder

High accuracy magnetic encoder

Rotation Angle Sensors

Issue #02...

Magnetic encoders that can be used in poor environments are attractive, but if high accuracy is required,is there any other solution except for using optical encoders?

Then what is our solution…

Magnetic encoders using the AK7455 can achieve an accuracy of about 0.5° * in a Shaft-End configuration. * Figure 1 shows an example that the center of the magnet and the center of the sensor are roughly assembled (within 0.5mm misalignment).

The AK7455 can be used in high temperature environments caused by high-speed motor rotation, as long as it is within the operating temperature range.

(AK7455 operating temp.: -40 to 125°C)

Even when higher accuracy is required, the AK7455 can achieve an accuracy of about 0.1° by performing its own calibration.
