Bluetooth® Low Energy Transmission IC
By attaching a tag to a person or an object and sending a beacon signal, it is possible to visualize when and where the person or object is by receiving the signal through a smartphone or a gateway. This system can be used for various purposes, such as managing equipment in industrial applications and checking employee attendance at the office.

Bluetooth® beacon evaluation kit that connects to smartphones
Among the many communication technologies, one of the greatest advantages of Bluetooth® is its connectivity with smartphones. With the AK1595A evaluation kit, a Bluetooth® transmission IC of Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) that includes a smartphone application, you can start experimenting immediately with your smartphone.
The data to be sent is set by writing registers. The AK1595A uses Arduino, a commercially available microcontroller board, to interface with a PC, and does not require an SDK (Software Development Kit) specifically for the AK1595A. Sample programs are also widely available.

In addition to the evaluation kit details, sample programs are provided (e.g., settings for transmitting iBeacon / Eddystone format and continuous unmodulated wave transmission for certification testing).
