Visualizing air-stagnation by using CO2 sensor

CO2 Sensors

Detects stagnation with the CO2 sensor of Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM), which has the features of both high accuracy and low power consumption.

Our health and quality of life depend heavily on indoor air quality, but the "stagnation" of air is one of the root causes of lowering that quality.

AKM provides a high accuracy CO2 sensor that achieves the visualization of the stagnation to improve the air quality.

The quality-stable CO2 sensors of Asahi Kasei Microdevices can be used in multiple units concurrently to detect the air stagnation of a room.

  • Room ventilation unevenness - Multi-point measurement eliminates ventilation unevenness
  • Why AKM?
Low power consumption and low individual variation are the key points for accurate air quality distribution.

CO2 sensor for more efficient ventilating and air purification

CO2 sensor for more efficient ventilating and air purification

By installing sensors in multiple locations, it is possible to grasp the unevenness of ventilation and take measures for appropriate air circulation.

The operation of the air purifier can also be optimized by linking CO2 concentration ensity data to the air purifier.

Furthermore, our CO2 sensor can be powered by batteries and therefore can be installed and used anywhere.

The high accuracy CO2 sensor of Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM) allows for accurate spatial estimation of air quality.
