The AK09974C and AK09973D are compact 3-axis magnetic sensors designed to be used in combination with magnets.
With a single sensor, it can detect not only basic movements such as linear motion, rotation, opening/closing, and tilting, but also complex combined motions.

AK09974C

AK09974C is a 4-pin WL-CSP with a 0.4mm ball pitch.The size is 0.76 × 0.76 × 0.50mm , with two pins for power supply and two pins for I²C / I3C communication.
Its wide measurement range, low-noise design, and built-in processing functions enable compact system designs while achieving both design flexibility and high accuracy.
It is suitable for UI (user interface) applications in various electronic devices such as smartphones, XR terminals, and healthcare devices.

AK09973D

The AK09973D is packaged in 5-pin WL-CSP with 0.4mm ball-pitch . The size is 1.18 × 0.78 × 0.55mm with 2 pins for power supply, 2 pins for I²C communication, and one Interrupt output pin.
By utilizing its magnetic threshold interrupt function and ultra-low power consumption, it is also well-suited for battery-powered security monitoring devices.

AK09940A

AK09940A is a digital output ultra-compact 3-axis electronic magnetometer that uses TMR magnetic sensor elements to achieve ultra-low noise performance.
The magnetic field vector is output as an 18-bit digital value for each of the X, Y, and Z axes.
