Description
Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM) resumes sales of high accuracy coreless current sensor ICs, CZ3Axx and CZ37xx series, compliant with the Standard for Safety for Adjustable Speed Electrical Power Drive Systems: UL61800-5-1.
AKM offers compact, low heat generation, and high isolation current sensors by using a magnetic open-type coreless current sensor IC with an integrated high-sensitivity Hall element.
With its safe and high-performance features and the extensive lineup, our current sensors can be used for current detection in a variety of industrial applications including EV charging stations and general-purpose inverters (drives) as well as contributing to solving customer issues such as heat generation and system efficiency.

CZ3Axx Series: High accuracy coreless current sensor ICs supporting 3V output voltage system
The CZ3Axx Series, which supports 3V output, is ideal for use with 3V system microcomputers that are increasingly utilized in recent years.
Equipped with two overcurrent detection systems, this Series facilitates the designing of the system protection unit.
With its 8mm or more for both the creepage and clearance distance, this Series can be used with 400V reinforced high isolation.
CZ37xx Series: Ultra-high accuracy current sensor ICs supporting 60Arms large current
The CZ37xx Series acheives 60Arms continuous current due to its low heat generation.
Furthermore, by realizing a wide current sensing range from ± 5.3A to ±180A within the same package, this Series facilitates expansion to models of different ratings.
This Series is an ultra-high accuracy current sensor IC with an overall accuracy of ±0.4% F.S (Ta=0 to 90°C Typ.), comparable to a closed-loop current sensor.
With its 8mm or more for both the creepage and clearance distance, this Series can be used with 400V reinforced high isolation.
Applications
