AC servo demo by coreless current sensor IC with sigma-delta digital output

The new coreless current sensor IC with sigma-delta digital output was introduced. Using this new product to demonstrate AC servo motor control, it enables the miniaturization of AC servo motors and robots.

Measurement of fast triangular current wave for miniatuarization of power converters

Demonstrates measurement of fast triangular current wave for SiC or GaN-based systems. AKM's Currentier coreless current sensor IC achieves a high bandwidth and a fast response equivalent to current transformers (CTs). Currentier makes it possible to increase the switching frequency and enable the converter system to be made smaller and thinner.

Coreless current sensor IC with 100 Arms

AKM showcased new product, which features high current capability, supporting 100 Arms and measuring up to +/- 225 A.

What is "Currentier" ?

"Currentier" is the brand name of AKM's coreless current sensor IC. It is the coined word which comes from combination of "Current" and "Frontier". Currentier can measures large current with high accuracy and low heat generation in a small SMD package. It has been used in various applications: general-purpose inverters, HVAC systems, PV inverters, EV battery chargers, etc.
