Energy Harvesting
Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE): There is a growing need for location detection in distribution warehouses and offices that use tags.
Here is an ultra-compact, battery-free Bluetooth® Low Energy tag that uses AKM's energy harvesting IC.

AKM's step-up DC/DC converter AP4470 is used for liquid-sensing devices that are easy to install on curved surfaces.
The device can be easily installed on long curved objects such as pipes, and the chemical energy of the liquid itself is used to generate electricity. As the sensor current does not flow while there is no liquid, it can be used for a long period of time.
It is possible to check whether it is available for power supply simply by connecting to the target power generator.
This kit can be easily demonstrated by combining it with a power generation element. The generated power can be used to activate the Bluetooth® Low Energy IC. A data receiving application (Android app) is also included.
