Sensor Element
(for NDIR type Gas Sensors)

Components for measuring gas concentrations using the NDIR method.
These components are suitable for customers who design and develop gas sensors from modules.

CO2 Sensors

Overview

The infrared LED, infrared sensor, AFE IC with a built-in infrared LED driver are suitable for NDIR (Non Dispersive InfraRed) type gas sensors. As the components of a gas sensor, these new technologies are able to transform our daily life at home to a more convenient, secure, safe, and energy saving environment.

Specifications Comparison

Infrared LED for NDIR type Gas Sensors

AKM's infrared LEDs utilize the epitaxial growth technology for semiconductor thin films, which have been developed through the manufacturing of magnetic sensors. This technology achieves  emission wavelength control for the optimum gas absorption wavelength band and high-speed and high-output emission control.

Our own compact molded resin packaging technology contributes to the downsizing of gas sensors as the compact Surface Mounted Devices (SMD) infrared LEDs.
